PHILOSOPHY OF ORGANIC

The place

We are in Contrada Fondi Vecchi, in the municipality of Palazzolo Acreide, on the Iblei Mountains at 600 meters above sea level, a few kilometers from Syracuse. A territory rich in history — home to Byzantine-era archaeological finds — and surrounded by pomegranates, olive trees, walnut plants, and Mediterranean essences. The gaze is lost in a distant horizon: the feeling is of being in a suspended place, out of time.

The location is strategic: The Apple of Venus is located at the center of some of the most beautiful destinations in southeastern Sicily. Just 6 km away is Palazzolo Acreide, a UNESCO baroque city with its ancient archaeological area. Noto is 20 minutes away, Syracuse 30 minutes. Ragusa, Modica, Scicli, and Ortigia are all easily reachable.

From the garden to the table, every day

The dishes are prepared with fresh products from our garden and our organic farm. The menu changes daily, strictly following seasonal availability, to ensure maximum quality and authenticity in every dish.

Our pomegranate
Red gold of Sicily

For our juice, we use different varieties of pomegranate grown using organic methods. Our pomegranate is hand-picked, transformed into juice, and bottled at our farm.

Cold pressing preserves all the properties of the fruit 100% pure organic Pomegranate juice derived from land prepared and cultivated with the biodynamic method of agriculture.

Pressing

Product obtained directly from the fruit through the pressing of the deseeded arils. Contains no additives, nor have water, sugars, or flavors been added.

200 ml – 500 ml also available in boxes of 6 or 24 juices of 200 ml.

For nature lovers, we offer excursions to Cava Grande del Cassibile with its small lakes, the necropolis of Pantalica, and the Vendicari Wildlife Oasis.
