Agriturismo la Mela di Venere is located in a perfectly central position between the cities of Syracuse, Noto, Ragusa, Modica, and Scicli, whose main architectural or landscape attractions are reachable within a few kilometers of each other.

Just 6 km away, Palazzolo Acreide, nestled among the Iblei mountains, is listed by UNESCO among the “Baroque Cities of the Val di Noto.” It boasts a vast archaeological area from the 2nd century BC and a monumental heritage of considerable importance, a cradle of religious and folkloric traditions with spectacular connotations. The agriturismo is located a few kilometers from Syracuse, the pearl of Sicily and a UNESCO heritage site.

About 20 minutes by car is Noto, a jewel of 18th-century baroque architecture, and 30 minutes away is Syracuse, rich in particularly fascinating tourist itineraries due to the uniqueness of the urban landscape, the variety of cultural heritage, a testament to the many souls (Greek-Hellenistic, early Christian, Byzantine, Arab, Swabian, Hispano-Catalan, baroque) that have matured in a unique Mediterranean environment.

Among the landscape attractions a few kilometers away are the Pantalica Nature Reserve, also home to an important necropolis, the Cava Grande Nature Reserve, with its characteristic “lakes,” and the Vendicari Wildlife Oasis, with its freshwater marshes, a refuge for migratory birds, and the stunning beaches that characterize the entire coastline between Syracuse, Noto, and Ispica.

Breakfast, entirely prepared with fresh products mainly from our own production and local sources, is rich in homemade pastries, organic jams, local cold cuts and cheeses, juices, and freshly picked organic seasonal fruit from our orchard.

At Agriturismo la Mela di Venere, our guests can enjoy culinary specialties rich in aromas and history passed down from our tradition. Dinners are based on products from our garden and our organic farm, prepared daily according to seasonal availability. The meats come from a trusted farm and the fresh fish from the Syracuse fish market.

POOL

The pool with a large solarium, strictly reserved for guests of the facility, is not only of considerable size (18×8) m, but also of the latest design with a salt system, additionally equipped with a geyser tub. Here, it is customary to relax under the shade of an olive tree, enjoying the silence and sounds of nature.

The facility offers:

EXCURSIONS

You can book excursions to all the main tourist attractions in Sicily and the sunny Southeast. We organize guided tours to the art cities, Syracuse, Taormina, and the baroque cities of the Val di Noto, Modica, Scicli, Ragusa Ibla, and nature-archaeological excursions to the wonderful Cava Grande del Cassibile (lakes), Pantalica, and the Vendicari Wildlife Oasis.
